• Sung by Mary Jane Lamond. Track 11 of CD: Bho Thir Nan Craobh (Iona – IRCD 045, 1996). Glengarry’s March is the first tune (0:00).

2 Hoch Hey Johnnie Lad strathspey

• Played by Donald Campbell. From an old home tape. Hoch Hey starts at 0:07. Listen for lots of cutting up (especially 2nd time through at 0:38) as well as back-string substitutions, wild notes, varied bowing/rhythms, and nearly constant drones.

Listen for beautiful transition from Capt Campbell march, lots of back-string substitutions, some cutting up, and fun transition into Lucy Campbell at 0:57.
