ABOUT THE COURSE
The Cape Breton Deep-Dive (CBDD) course is for players with a keen interest in the Cape Breton fiddle style. The focus of this self-directed edition is on the elusive, idiomatic playing techniques of some of the iconic Cape Breton masters, as illustrated in the pages of the DunGreen Collection (DGC). Relevant excerpts from the DGC are available to participants, including some unreleased material that is currently available only through this class! I also share audio and video examples from CB Tradition Bearers, pointing out the various techniques and special qualities I hear in each one.
COURSE FEATURES
Three workshop videos, each around 100 minutes long. Each video has a detailed clickable index in the video notes; click on any line of the index to jump to that place in the video.
